Davon Natrell Stewart is behind bars after being arrested by members of the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office when he was busted sparking up a relationship with a 15-year-old student from Chopticon High School.
It is alleged that Stewart, who was employed as a member of the St. Mary’s County Public School Safety and Security team formed a relationship with the teen while working inside the building.
According to investigators, he was busted after meeting with the teen outside of school, where there was reported sexual contact between the two.
Stewart was indicted in St. Mary’s County Court and charged with sexual abuse of a minor. The arrest was announced on Tuesday, June 27.
He is being held at the St. Mary’s County Detention and Rehabilitation Center in Leonardtown pending his next court appearance.
